We have just heard of ChristianeTaubira\u2019s resignation, Mr Valls\u2019 minister of justice. At once, she was replaced by Mr Jean Jacques Uroas, very close to the prime minister, but totally unknown to us and the CPCR.
\n\u201cSometimes, Resist means Stay \u201c\u00a0 \u201csometimes , Resist is Leave\u201d, she said in her tweet. Of course, nobody is surprised by this resignation considering the French political context.
\nDoes the CPCR have to regret her? It\u2019s hard to say but we probably lose the person who, among the French government , \u00a0was the most sensible about the Tutsi genocide in Rwanda She came where the genocide took place and had shown her interest in the struggle we pursue , but she was part ot a government who seem to ignore that\u00a0 \u201cthe country of the one thousand hills\u201dexists. The last \u201cact of force\u201d being not to send Mrs Taubira to the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Tutsi genocide in Rwanda in April 1994. At that time , \u00a0we had denounced this decision, shameful for the socialist leaders of our country, not to mention the contempt in front of\u00a0 more than a million victims .
\nThis resignation, of course, \u00a0will not change anything. French justice will go on \u201chastening slowly\u201d , \u00a0organizing trials , now and then, trials that we keep on claiming for..The next trial , about Mr NGENZI AND Mr BARAHIRA, both suspected of taking part in the Tutsi genocide , will take place in Paris criminal court of justice beginning on MAY10. Then will follow Pascal SIMBIKANGWA\u2019s trial appeal in October 2016, at Bobigny court of justice.
