Life sentence upheld on appeal to the leaders of the ruling party in 1994

This is another confirmation and that is excellent (judgment just reached me).

Ngirumpatse and Karemera were convicted at trial in December 2011 for genocide and crimes against humanity.

Appeal Trial of Claude MUHAYIMANA

Claude MUHAYIMANA was sentenced to 14 years’ imprisonment by the Paris Assize Court for complicity in genocide and crimes against humanity at his appeal trial which took place from February 3 to 27, 2026. In the initial trial on December 16, 2021, he had been sentenced to the same term. Both the defense and the prosecution had appealed. The sentence is now definitive.
