SIMBIKANGWA appeal trial : SIMBIKANGWA sentenced to 25 years in prison.

The Bobigny Assize Court deliberated on Saturday the 3rd of December 2016 after the floor was given to the accused. The verdict fell at 8pm : Pascal SIMBIKANGWA is sentenced to 25 years imprisonment;

This is what was requested by the Attorney General on Thursday, exactly the same as the sentence he had been convicted to at his first trial in 2014.

Mr EPSTEIN, lawyer for the defence, showed his indecency and disrespect coming out of court : “Mr GAUTHIER, you have him now your genocidaire !”. Unworthy remarks, even from a defence lawyer who has just lost a case. This is not at all our conception of justice. The Assize Court of Bobigny pronounced itself. It is a jury of three professional magistrates and nine jurors who pronounced the judgement. Other battles await us, for the memory of the victims and the comfort of their families.
