The Paris Assize Court deliberated on Friday the 6th of July 2018 after the floor was given to the accused. The verdict fell shortly before 7pm : Tito BARAHIRA and Octavien NGENZI are both found guilty of genocide and crimes against humanity. They are sentenced to life imprisonment, the same as the sentence they had been convicted to at their first trial in 2016. The Public Prosecutor of the High Court of Paris has just published his “partial dismissal and indictement” in the case of Claude MUHAYIMANA, a personn suspected of having participated in the genocide ot Tutsi and against which the CPCR had lodged a complaint with civil party on 4 june 2013.
